Getting Ready for Christmas

Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is soon.

I am filled with dread with so much to do.

Gifts to be made, store bought just won’t do.

Fresh baked treats and warm apple cider make the work so much brighter.

Put a twinkle star on top and a train underneath, the Christmas tree is a wonder to see.

With a note and a stamp each card goes its way,

Saying peace and joy to you each and every day.
